The Norwegian Business Group for the UAE was first established in Dubai in 1996. In October 2000 an initiative was taken to establish another group in Abu Dhabi.
In April 2001 both groups approved statutes for organizing NBG in two chapters, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with respective Executive Committiees. A Cooperation Council was formed with two members from each executive committee to represent the NBG in UAE. the chairmanship alternates between the respective chapters.
The groups welcome as members all persons and/or companies with interest in Norway or Norwegian Business.
